unexpected surprise

2011 has so far been a crazy ride and a great time. Full of planes, trains and automobiles. I'm currently Turkey as Media Liasion for Team Australia for the World Universaide Winter Games having an absolute blast.

3 days ago the British National Guild of Photographers announced their list for their 2010 Photographers of the Year and to my surprise I came out ranked 5th in the non-wedding Photographer category. Something I was not expecting considering I was only accepted into the Guild in August.

Really am quite chuffed!
